This sticky peach chipotle glazed ham is totally drool worthy, and fast enough for a weeknight meal or a special holiday dinner with family.
Dish Count :: 1 Saucepan, 1 Baking Dish, 1 Whisk

This easy glazed ham recipe is a treat for the holidays, or even a weeknight meal. This ham glaze recipe switches out the traditional pineapple ham glaze, with peach and chipotle to create a sweet and smoky glaze.
Gosh, babies sure ruin everything. I had grand plans to tell you all about the maniac last week we’ve endured, that included signing a lease on a new apartment – right next door to us, the chest freezer that decided it was going to take an epic dive yesterday that meant I was moving 100 pounds of meat from the freezer to the coolers, running to the store for a national security alarm raising amount of dry ice to keep it frozen, trying to find a repair place open on a Sunday (all before coffee, I might add), and added to the fact that Ben was sick, projectile vomming no less, and I trying to keep something in side his stomach, while he’s convinced that my three day old sandwich tucked in the fridge was the culprit behind it all.
So, I was going to tell you all about those things. But then I woke up this morning to the Duchess of Cambridge being knocked up with baby number two and well, I am having a pre-coffee fan girl freak out! Lucky you.

I also have a Sticky Peach Chipotle Glazed Ham to wax poetic about, too. So, stick with me at least for that!
With an abnormally high attachment to all things royal – and with my maiden last name being Pence, I am pretty much guaranteed to be losing my ish to anything royal. I probably shouldn’t admit to the Twitter list I look over everything morning of all the royal twitter accounts and royal reporting sites. And I probably shouldn’t admit that I had a countdown to the Royal wedding here on the blog back in 2011, and that I took the day of the royal wedding off work as a personal holiday to watch it live.

Then there was me nearly getting in a row at work when Prince George was born and I had the baby reveal walk about streaming on my work computer so I could get a first look at the new future monarch. Don’t ever ask me, “Gosh, why do you care?! *eye roll* It’s not like you’re British…”. Ahhh, helllll nah.
There are things in life you don’t ask questions about – including asking a woman if she’s pregnant, asking your husband “Does my butt look big in this?”, and asking anyone “Why do you care about the royal family?”
Because I like tradition, and pomp, and circumstance, and history. And well, BABIES!!
So while babies ruin everything – my ovaries can’t help but cheer.

If cute babies make your ovaries explode, this sticky peach chipotle glazed ham will make you tastebuds explode, too! I’m a firm believer in sustainable eating, and sourcing meat that has been sustainably and compassionately raised, in supporting farmers and producers that take that extra mile to produce quality food. Fork in the Road is a company I was introduced to a few months ago while I was in California, and having a chance to talk to them about their mission to work with family farmers and ranchers that have equal investment in their land and what they produce is something I have to support.
Take a look at their site and learn more about their mission to produce quality meats, protect the environment, and create a better path to nutritious food for all.
*Fine Print* I was not compensated for this post by Fork in the Road, they did provide me with some products to try out in my own home for fun. Opinions are entirely my own.

I was just reading about the news from Britain. I’m excited for them (and sorry to read that Kate has been having difficult pregnancies). On a separate note, this ham recipe sounds awesome. Great flavors.
Mmmm, this ham really looks tasty. That glaze sounds amazing!
I think I should add “Why are you crying at this silly movie for no apparent reason at all” to my list of questions never to ask me. BECAUSE!!! Now, here’s one for you: “Can you pass me ALL THE HAM please?”

Heck yeah to all of this! First of all, I’m a royal watcher, too (I’m going to blame that on my Canadian upbringing…everyone there is pretty royal-crazy). And then there’s this ham. The Fork in the Road product are fantastic and you’ve upped the ante with the smoky-sweet-spicy glaze.

This glaze sounds fantastic, I don’t eat ham but I’m sure on a roasting chicken this would be out-of-this-world as well 🙂
I’m totally into the whole royal baby things too, when I saw the news today, I let out a rather loud squeal. Babies get me going no matter what, but ROYAL babies take the cake for sure.
