Sinless sweets like these Vegan Pomegranate Rose Gummies will let you snack on a probiotic packed treat!

aI’m a sucker for gummies. My indoctrination to gummy bears began early, thanks to my grandmother’s constant spoiling. And it hasn’t ceased in thirty *cough* odd years. To commemorate my love of gummies, Health-Ade and I commiserate to create a gummy fit for our vegan friends with their bright pink and bubbly rose kombucha!

Because Health-Ade is vegan, we wanted to honor that tradition and make sure that any friend, vegan or not, could enjoy a wholesome treat with probiotics, a little sweetness, and a kiss of rose! This recipe can be made two ways, with just the Health-Ade Kombucha in Bubbly Rose, or with pomegranate juice to give them a more tart flavor with an extra pop of pink!
I added in a dash or rose water to give them an extra punch.
Can You Make Vegan Gummies?
Yes, vegan gummies substitute agar agar with the traditional gelatin that is used in making gummy candies. Gelatin is an animal based product, making them non-vegan. Agar Agar is a plant based gel that allows you to make a slightly chewy gummy substitute.

Pomegranate Bubbly Rose Gummies

These are simple to make, switching out agar agar for traditional gelatin. The proportions for liquid to agar agar powder stay the same, just if you want to venture out and try different varieties, go forth and explore to make custom vegan gummies for your favorite veggie-phile!

Description
Sinless sweets like these Vegan Pomegranate Rose Gummies will let you snack on a probiotic packed treat!
Ingredients
Bubbly Rose Gummies
- 3/4 cup Health-Ade Bubbly Rose Kombucha
- 1/4 tsp Rose Water Extract
- 2 Tbsp Agave Syrup
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Agar Agar Powder
Pomegranate Bubbly Rose Gummies
- 1/2 cup Health-Ade Bubbly Rose Kombucha
- 1/4 cup Pomegranate Juice
- 1/4 tsp Rose Water Extract
- 2 Tbsp Agave Syrup
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Agar Agar Powder
Instructions
- Set gummy molds onto a baking sheet to keep them flat, and for easy transport into the fridge.
- In a small saucepan, bring Health-Ade Bubbly Rose kombucha (and pomegranate juice, if using) to a simmer. Stir in the rose water extract, and agave syrup. Test to ensure it is the desired sweetness, add more if needed.
- With a whisk, stir in the agar agar powder. Whisk vigorously to break up any of the agar agar powder that clumps. Some white bits may remain and dissolve as the gummies set. The mixture will thicken quickly, in one to two minutes.
- Reduce the heat to low and leave the pan on the stove to keep the mixture soft. It will set rapidly once cool.
- Using gummy mold, pipe in the gummy syrup into the molds. Once complete, place the baking sheet into the fridge to allow the gummies to set, for about 30 minutes.
- Pop them out of the molds to serve and store. Seal in an airtight container and keep in the fridge for up to one week.

What a great idea!!! These look delicious 🙂
Cool! Changing laws in my state have me interested in learning to make gummies, and it’d be cool if they were healthy ones.
These were an easy hack into the gummy world. I would love to try more and get them really chewy like traditional gummies!
