A family friendly kombucha fruit punch is a fabulous way to introduce yourself to kombucha benefits, like improved gut health and more.

Another day, another boozy, or family friendly drink! Lucky you! This kombucha fruit punch is loaded with fresh squeeze pineapple and orange juice with bubbly kombucha, and something extra for the adults! So be sure to make two batches.

What Is Kombucha?

Kombucha is fermented tea. It is aged and lightly sweetened to allow for delicious bubbles and probiotics to form using a “mother”, which are bacteria and acids that form on top. You can make kombucha at home with green or black tea, yeast and some cane sugar. Juice or flavorings are also added. You can find more information here.

Some people see benefits from drinking kombucha, like improved digestive health, moods, and more!

Parents get this, more specifically parents with toddlers, get this. Kids always want what you’re having. Even if it is literally, exactly, the same, they will always want a bite, sip, or all of what you are eating or drinking. The same goes for wanting to be where you are, whenever that is, particularly at the most inconvenient times (ie, like when you’re going to the bathroom…), but we will keep this clean for the purposes of this argument.

THEY ARE ALWAYS TAKING YOUR STUFF!

And at some point, we stop resisting, because it’s easier to give in, then to fight these tiny, adorable, lovable, and clingy little humans for the last, or worse yet, BEST bite of what you’re eating.

But this time, I made Emmett his very own kombucha fruit punch. And I got to keep mine all to myself. Mom win!

Health-Ade’s newest kombucha flavor, fruit punch, is the highlight of summer with pineapple and orange flavors, mixed with their black tea kombucha. It’s tart and sweet, and lightly bubbly. Just tropical perfection. It’s not loaded down with extra flavors to overpower the goodness or flavor of the kombucha, it has the best balance of everything. I made this version two ways, one with a little something extra for the parents, and one that is kid friendly so that you don’t have to worry about sharing. Add in fresh pineapple, oranges, mangoes, and more to keep this tropical train a-rollin’.
