Stitch Fix Friday – Spring-ish Edition
For those who hate the malls, or shopping, or really clothes, Stitchfix has been the ultimate life saver! Get your own stylist and get stuff you might ACTUALLY wear!
Let’s see what we got this month in this Kick It or Keep It!!
I hate the mall, except for maybe Cinnabon. So I’ve depending on StitchFix for a looonggg time to make sure I look cute. And thankfully, they’ve done a bang up job. It also helped when I cracked the StitchFix code to make sure I got everything I wanted in the first place! Yes, there is a way to get stuff you will like again and agin!
This time, after so many successes, I was feeling kinda crazy, and broke one of my rules to try something new. And guess what it worked again!!
So tell me – should I keep it or kick it?
Le Lis – Crowstone Tie Back Blouse
Keep It
I kept it. The front was a little boxy looking, but I just couldn’t help but love the bow tie back. Even if my tie-behind-my-back skills are a little lacking.
Fun2Fun – Favio Split Neck Top
Keep It
I loved the pattern, it’s simple and short sleeved. It rises a little high on the sides, but so long as I wear a tank top under it, or a cardigan over it, it’s perfect.
Pixley – Evel Floral Skirt
Keep It
I don’t “do” skirts. My job doesn’t allow it seeing as on most days I would be out in the field walking around a construction site, or hustling to an fro. But I loved this. The colors are outrageously happy, and it’s like a cool and funky update to your grandma’s sofa. I mean that in a good way. It’s stretchy, and totally comfortable.
And I think this will totally rock next time when I take more than 30 seconds to put myself together. I mean – chambray and floral? YES!!
Alice Blue – Lucio Henley Blouse
Keep It – Oh, Lawd Keep it!!
This might have been my favorite. It’s sheer, so definitely requires a tank top underneath, but it’s light and so damn freaking HAPPY! Don’t let my face deceive you – I was just trying to figure out how to get my camera’s remote shoot mechanism going and it worked at the most inopportune time.
Oh – there we go, Better!
And the back! I love the little tailored detail. Cute!
Kut From the Kloth – Simmons Bootcut Jean
Keep it
Okay, I don’t have a full picture of these – so look back at the pictures of me in jeans and these are it! They are stretchy, and appropriately fitted so I didn’t feel like a sausage in a casing. The only downside – I’m 5’5″ (I’ll tell the truth even though I claim 5’6″), and they thought I must have been an Amazonian goddess because they are the length fit for a giraffe.
But that’s okay, it’s nothing a $15 dry cleaner’s hem can’t fix!
Also – jean shopping blows. So when I can get a pair delivered that work – I’m totally okay with that!
