Gypsy Passion Tea Lemonade
This gypsy passion tea lemonade is perfect for summer, and can be made two ways for the kids and for the adults! Add some club soda for a fizzy version, too!

I’m becoming ultra picky? I say it like it’s a question, but really, it’s not. Or my orders at Starbucks are starting to take on that ultra douchey quality of being super specific and 8 items long to make sure my coffee is tinted with sweet, but not too sweet, only half caffeinated so I’m not hearing colors, and the list goes on.
I’m that person. Whoops. But a perfectly sweetened, utterly refreshing passion tea lemonade is just the thing that keeps me in a summer happy mood.
Ingredients to Make Passion Tea Lemonade
- Water
- Passion Tea teabags
- Lemonade, pre-made is just fine, or make your own.
- St. Germaine, optional

My tea order is the same way. I can’t take it too sweet. One pump of syrup, on an indulgent day. The fuzzy slipper feeling on my teeth is just not my jam with the 6 pumps that go into a venti. My tummy hurts just thinking about it. Soooo, we have the gypsy passion tea lemonade, my personal riff on the Starbucks version. But with an adult twist.
Blend this passion tea lemonade to your taste, adjusting the tea to lemonade content so it is just sweet enough for you. You can make your own lemonade, or buy one premade off the shelf. And for an adult twist, to make it extra special, add in a little St. Germain. Because you’re an adult, and you can.

what a nice summer passon lemonade, nice flavors, thank you
I understand that you most likely mean nothing by this, but would you reconsider your usage of a harmful label in a recipe like this? It’s uncomfortable to see this paired with a lovely drink recipe. A large percentage of the Romani people recommend refraining from using this word entirely because of its use as a racial slur. (I had no idea for a long time myself, and as a long-time reader, I wanted to give you a head’s up!)
Emma, thank you so much for your help in making me aware of this. Much appreciated.
