These Reese’s Cereal Rice Krispie Treats are a no-bake peanut butter and chocolate dessert that come together in minutes! Crunchy, gooey, and packed with Reese’s Puffs cereal, marshmallows, and a chocolate drizzle.

If you’re a peanut butter and chocolate lover (hello, that’s all of us), these Reese’s Cereal Rice Krispie Treats are about to be your new favorite no-bake dessert. Think classic Rice Krispie treats — but make them rich, nutty, and undeniably indulgent thanks to Reese’s Puffs cereal, creamy peanut butter, gooey marshmallows, and a drizzle of melted chocolate on top.
This recipe takes everything nostalgic about childhood snacks and gives it a grown-up twist with a bold peanut butter flavor and just the right amount of crunch. And yes, they disappear fast. So make a double batch — trust me. And since it’s summer and no one wants to turn on an oven, these are totally a win-win!

Why You’ll Love These Reese’s Cereal Treats
- No baking required! Just melt, mix, press, and drizzle.
- Bold peanut butter flavor thanks to both Reese’s Puffs and creamy peanut butter.
- Ready in 15 minutes with minimal mess.
- Great for potlucks, lunchboxes, or Netflix snacking.
- Naturally gluten-free (just double-check your cereal and marshmallows).
Ingredients You’ll Need
- 6 cups Reese’s Puffs cereal
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 10 oz mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (melted for drizzling)
- Optional: Crushed mini Reese’s or peanut butter chips for topping – But really are they optional?

How to Make Reese’s Cereal Treats
- Melt the butter and peanut butter in a large pot over medium heat. I prefer a non-stick pot like this Hexclad for this use.
- Stir in the marshmallows and keep stirring until completely melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and fold in the Reese’s Puffs cereal. Work quickly to combine before the mix cools.
- Press the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch pan using a buttered spatula or parchment paper. – This lasagna pan is my go to. It’s just so damn pretty!
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth. Drizzle over the top. It make it really easy if you pour the chocolate into a piping bag, or a Ziploc bag and snip the tip to create even drizzles.
- Add any extra toppings if you’re feeling fancy. Let cool for at least 30 minutes before slicing.

This is the worst recipe I’ve ever tried. Everything turned out to be a disintegrating clump.
