Health-Ade Original - Grapefruit Kombucha Mojitos

Bright, colorful, and full of puckering citrus, this grapefruit kombucha mojito is spring in a glass! And full of gut healthy probiotics! Who knew cocktails could be good for you! As a kid I had a beef with the whole Easter thing. Not because I objected to anything about the holiday, in fact, I loved it. My competitive streak came out during the egg hunts, I survived on candy coated chocolate eggs, and embarrassingly enough I totally loved the after-Easter egg salads for days on end from the dyed Easter eggs we would make.

My problem, however, was that I was not a girly girl, and the yearly Easter dress was in fact the low point of my entire year. In the late 80’s and early 90’s big, poufy, dresses with bright colors, and itchy tulle under the skirts were so in. My brow is furled just thinking about this torture.

The tulle was itchy, annoying, I was expected to behave like a little girl in a pretty party dress, and I hated every minute of it.

But thank goodness, I’m an adult. And never again do I have to put on a pretty, itchy, party dress against my will. I can dye my Easter eggs and hide them from my kid to my heart’s content. It’s 20 minutes of peace that we parents can get during the season, to send out kids out into the yard and stand back while they run amok, tire themselves out, and we can drink our cocktails, even if there is not much quiet to be had.

I love the colors of the season, with everything in bloom, and the pastel tones of Easter all around. These Health-Ade Grapefruit Kombucha mojitos are perfectly festive and you can enjoy the freshness of the season with those close to you. Your kids can occupy themselves and leave you the heck alone to sip your mojitos from the comfort of the back deck.
