Well, the first part of the entire Wilton course is done. And it’s addicting! I’m so excited for the next time I’ll be able to sign up for these Wilton classes.

Yesterday’s final class was decorating a cake using our newly acquired rose and sweet pea techniques, shells were used on our cake borders and beatimus-ness was made.  Oh yes, it was.

Our instructor Jill was ever so patient with us three,  showing us proper techniques – repeatedly if necessary, making us laugh and teaching us the joys of decorating.

I hope I get to take her next session of classes in a couple months!

Jill, ensuring Thu had correct positions on her stars and twisty flowers. Thu, the eternal perfectionist had to get it right — and she did!!

See – I told you they were perfect!
And here’s mine! Swirly flowers and purple roses that look more like cabbages. Oh well, you get the point – and boy were they tasty frosting cabbages!! he he
