2018 Most Popular Recipes
It’s another year in the books party people! And this has been one of my favorite years, in the 8 years I have been doing this! It’s been a year of change, challenge, transition, and new ideas, but I can say that this is the year I have been the most inspired to be my whole self in the kitchen, and to do the things I want to do, how I want to do them, with only my own mind and creativity to contend with. I hope this sets the stage for 2019 to be another year of fun, inventive foods, and lots, lots more!
Come see what the top ten most popular recipes were on the blog, all thanks to YOU!! I even threw in a couple of “honorable mentions”, because I couldn’t pick a favorite either!

Hands down the MOST POPULAR Recipe of the year!! And truth be told, this was my favorite, too! I am a royal fanatic, and I’m so glad that everyone else who was obsessing about Harry and Meghan came over so they could see my version of their wedding cake and make it themselves to celebrate the royal wedding!
Honorable Mentions:
While the posts above all have the benefit of being made earlier in the year, giving them the time to get the clicks, views, Pinterest pins, and love they deserve, some of my more recent posts really deserve some shoutouts as my personal favorites from this year! These are the honorable mentions that are soooo dang good, they just really deserve one last chance to shine!
Savory Butternut Squash and Gruyere Breakfast Strata
This was a recipe of necessity, and needing to use up squash that had been sitting on my counter for a few weeks. Turns out, it was so perfectly perfect for this recipe, it is hands down one of my favorites from the whole year!
How could I not include the campfire cake I made for Emmett’s first birthday?! It was surprisingly easy, and I included step by step photos of it so you can make it at home yourself. You can also see it in my Instagram stories, too! Let’s not dwell that my tiny tater tot is now almost 15 months old… I need a cake to eat some feelings…
Gingerbread Chocolate Chip No Churn Ice Cream
This is one of my last recipes of 2018, and I lamented over the fact that other no churn ice cream recipes I made did not stack up to the hype. But this ONE DOES!!
