Description

A quick appetizer, these white cheddar cheese sticks use puff pastry for a speedy baking experience.


Ingredients

  • 1 Sheet Puff Pastry, or 8 ounces prepared Pizza Dough*
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 1/2 cup Darigold Sharp White Cheddar, grated
  • 2 tsp Chopped Thyme
  • 1/4 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • Course Sea Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. On a lightly floured surface, roll out of the dough into a 12×18″ rectangle. Brush the dough with olive oil, and sprinkle with Darigold Sharp White Cheddar. Sprinkle with thyme, and paprika.
  2. Using a pizza cutter, slice dough into 1 1/2″ sections lengthwise. Fold each strip in half and twist to form a rope. Place on parchment lined baking sheet. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
  3. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until the puff pastry is crispy and golden.
