- 1 pound plain Goat Cheese, do not use pre-made goat cheese crumbles. Log preferable.
- Extra Virgin, or Extra Light Olive Oil
- Roasted Red Pepper
- Peppercorns
- Fresh Rosemary
- Fresh Thyme
- Garlic Cloves
- Other herbs or fillings
Instructions
- Into your clean mason jars, layer goat cheese that has been sliced or crumbled into LARGE crumbles or slices.
- Between layers, add in your fillings, like roasted red pepper, peppercorns, rosemary and thyme.
- Pour the olive oil over the top of the cheese, filling up the jar and completely covering the goat cheese.
- Seal with lid and store in fridge until ready to use or give as a gift. Perfect for eating, or using on a holiday cheese plate.
- Use olive oil in other cooking as it has melded with new flavors.
