Make this ultra creamy Homemade Nutella Hot Cocoa boozy for the adults, or kid-friendly! With two kinds of chocolate!

- 1 1/2 cups (400 ml) Milk
- 1 cup (250 ml) Half and Half
- 4 ounces (125 grams) Milk or Semi Sweet Chocolate, chopped
- 1/4 cup (75 ml) Chocolate Hazelnut Spread, such as Nutella
- 1/4 cup (75 ml) Hazelnut Liqueur, optional (leave out for kid-friendly version)
- Whipped Cream
Instructions
- In your saucepan or pot, pour in the milk and half and half. Stir these together and bring to a very slight simmer over medium low heat. Don’t heat the mixture too fast, to avoid scorching.
- Gently stir in the chopped chocolate, allowing it to melt. Next, add in the chocolate hazelnut spread and stir that in until it is dissolved.
- If you’re adding in any liquor, wait until the very end as you remove the hot cocoa from the stove. Divide the hot cocoa between mugs and top with whipped cream. If you have any chopped chocolate leftover, sprinkle some on top of the whipped cream for garnish.
- Sip immediately.
