Description

Fire up the grill for a super healthy way to enjoy your summer veggies! These grilled green beans with harissa are Whole30, paleo, and vegan friendly.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 11 1/2 pounds fresh whole Green Beans, ends trimmed
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 3 Tbsp Harissa Sauce, such as Mina

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to 350-400 degrees. While heating, trim stem ends of the green beans. Rinse and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Add beans to a bowl, and toss to coat with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Line up green beans on the grill grates, perpendicular to the grates, so they don’t fall through. *Some may inevitably.* If you have a grilling vegetable basket, use that.
  4. Grill the beans until blistered on each side, about 3 minutes. Gently turn over and repeat until all sides are blistered.
  5. Remove and place back into bowl. Toss to coat with harissa sauce. Use more or less depending on your taste. I used the “mild” harissa.
  6. Serve immediately!
