If you call them Crinkle Cookies, or Gooey Butter Cookies, it make no matter because they are always the first to disappear. These cookies got the holiday treatment into Gingerbread Crinkle Cookies just in time for your holiday cookie exchanges!

- 1 package (8oz) Cream Cheese, room temperature
- 1 package (18 oz) Gingerbread Boxed Cake/Cookie Mix
- 1/2 cup Butter, room temperature
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large bowl with an electric mixer, beat the cream cheese and butter until smooth. Beat in the egg.
- Lastly, mix in the cake mix until thoroughly incorporated.
- Cover bowl and refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Roll the chilled batter into 1″ sized balls and then roll them in powdered sugar. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart.
- Bake 12 minutes. The cookies will remain soft and gooey.
- Cool completely and sprinkle with more confectioners’ sugar, if desired.
