Description
Kick the cranberry sauce can to the curb and make your own ginger orange jellied cranberry sauce in one pan and a blender!

- 1 pound Fresh Cranberries
- 2 Oranges
- 1 1/2 cups Sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp Freshly Grated Ginger
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- Pinch Salt
Instructions
- Place the cranberries into a large saucepan. Using a vegetable peeler, peel oranges and place zest into the saucepan. Then squeeze the juice from both oranges. Stir in the sugar, ginger, and pinch of salt.
- Bring the mixture to to a simmer, and cook, stirring occasionally for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Remove the mixture from the heat, gently removing the orange pith from the mixture. Stir in the vanilla.
- Pour the mixture into a blender, and blend until smooth. Pour through a mesh sieve and into a serving bowl.
- Cover with plastic wrap and place in fridge until ready to serve.
- Garnish with additional cranberries, and segmented oranges, optional.
