Description

These ooey gooey cookies are deceptively easy, and incredibly delicious!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (8oz) Cream Cheese, room temperature
  • 1 package (18 oz) Strawberry Boxed Cake Mix
  • ½ cup Butter, room temperature
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Egg
  • ½ cup Powdered Sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl with an electric mixer, beat the cream cheese and butter until smooth.
  3. Beat in the egg. Mix in the vanilla extract. Lastly, mix in the cake mix until thoroughly incorporated.
  4. Cover bowl and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  5. Roll the chilled batter into 1″ sized balls and then roll them in powdered sugar. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake 12 minutes. The cookies will remain soft and gooey.
  7. Cool completely and sprinkle with more confectioners’ sugar, if desired.
