Description

Silky and soft egg custard is key to this eggnog custard pie! It’s simple to make, and filled with all the spices and flavors of the season!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Pie Crust, rolled and placed in pie pan
  • 4 Large Eggs
  • 2 cups Eggnog
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 tsp Rum Extract
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cloves
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Roll pie crust and place it into a pie plate, crimp the edges. Place the crust in the fridge until ready to fill and the oven is preheated.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together all remaining pie filling ingredients until smooth. Pour into the pie shell.
  3. Pour the filling into the pie shell. Bake for 15 minutes.
  4. Reduce the temperature to 350 and continue to bake 50-60 minutes, or until a knife inserted into pie near the center comes out clean.
  5. Cool on a wire rack until cool, and refrigerate until ready to serve. Top with whipped cream if desired.
