Margarita Shrimp Queso

Description

Jazz this spicy, creamy queso dip up with some margarita-marinated shrimp and have a game day fiesta!


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 16 ounces Velveeta, cubed
  • 1 can Ro*tel with Lime
  • 1/2 pound Shrimp, deveined, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup Margarita Mix
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine chopped shrimp and margarita mix. Top with salt and pepper to taste. Let marinade for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  2. Preheat skillet over medium-high heat. Drain away excess margarita marinade and add shrimp to the skillet, cooking until opaque. Drain.
  3. In a large microwave safe bowl, combine Velveeta and Ro*tel. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Stir, and continue to microwave until melted through.
  4. Add in margarita shrimp and stir. Serve immediately.
